Confidence & Friendship Club

Confidence & Friendship Club is specialized, trainer run, small group enrichment daycare program. A “daycare within a daycare” to meet the specific developmental and social emotional needs of dogs who have some desire to socialize but don't do well in a large group environment.

Confidence & Friendship Club is offered at Dog Days Vandalia location is a “daycare within a daycare” designed specifically for dogs who benefit from small group trainer matched play and confidence building enrichment activities. 

When is Confidence & Friendship Club? 

Wednesday's at Dog Days Vandalia. Drop off between 7 and 9:30 AM, Pick up between 3:30 and 6:30 PM. Program runs 9:30 to 3:30.

What dogs benefit from Confidence & Friendship Club? 

Dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs but become over stimulated in a large group environment.
Dogs who are dog selective but with the right playmates enjoy play and companionship with other dogs.

In SOME cases remedial socialization. Contact the program to see if it would be the right fit.

Activities include:

Small group, facilitated play/socializing 

Professional trainers specializing in social behavior will slowly introduce dogs and guide them through socializing and playing in a way that is enjoyable to all dogs in the room.

Confidence building games

We use movement puzzles, scent games, simplified agility and rally games & trick training to supplement the social experience and build optimism and confidence.

Relationship building with safe, trained humans

Our trainers know how to connect with your pup and help them feel safe.

Collaboration

We can work in collaboration with your vets, behaviorists, trainers and other professionals to share our assessments and your dogs behavior and changes.
